Will The Real Denver Broncos Fans Please Stand Up!
To me these kinds of posers are more of a joke than fans just expressing their unhappiness with the direction of the franchise. Booing your own team and bad mouthing the franchise you supposedly supported for so many years seems pointless to me. Too many of these two faced, fake fans are around for me to even try and convince of the possibilities for the upcoming season.
What’s funny to me is how there are so many “fans” that are all about the players of old who don’t play anymore, such as Elway and T.D. Now don’t get me wrong, I loves me some Elway, but it is the TEAM I support and the current team has a lot to be fan-ish over. Elvis Dumervil, Ryan Clady, Knowshon Moreno and even the rookie Tim Tebow are great in their own right, now couple that with the fact that they play for a team I love and I have many games to look forward to for seasons to come.
So please, will the real fans stand up and give the haters and doubters something to really complain about.

10. The Denver Broncos will NOT be wearing the brown and yellow throw-back uniforms this season.
9. Getting a chance to see the Broncos play in London against the 49ers.
8. We get to see Tim “Jesus Christ Superstar” Tebow show Orton how to throw more than 15 yards.
7. Not having to deal with Brandon Marshall and Josh McDaniels’ hug/hate fest.
6. The 2010 preseason will be filled with position battles, mainly the Tebow/Quinn/Orton/Brandstater showdown.
5. Yet another chance to see Doom tee off on the other qb’s in the AFC West.
4. The wide receivers. Not only is Eddie Royal going to have a break out season, but we also drafted a player in Demaryius Thomas who may turn out to be just like, if not better than Brandon Marshall. Throw those two in with proven receivers like Stokely and Gaffney and we got ourselves a party (assuming Orton is NOT the qb).
3. The D! They may not be the Orange Crush, but they are underestimated. Let me just throw a few names out there. Dumervil, Bailey, J. Green, J. Williams, Bannan, D.J. Williams. Need I say more?
2. We get a chance to see a play ran other than the bubble screen.
And the #1 reason to watch the Broncos in the 2010 season is……..
Because watching the Chargers, Raiders and Chiefs lose to the Broncos is the best part of my year. GO BRONCOS!!

There are tens of thousands of Bronco wackjobs all over Colorado that will be back in action in a few weeks. WalMarts all over will soon be busting out cheap Tebow and Quinn jerseys along with some old Plummer jerseys on clearance, lol.
Hopefully they’ll get a few key wins (except for week 16). The Texans will be handling the AFC West a few losses this year as well, which will hopefully help the Broncos.
Just hang in there and let’s make it through the summer, and then it’s on.

Hey, buddy, you overlooked one item.
OK, now that I’ve cleared that up, I like your attitude!
There are many positive things the Broncos have going for them, and it is much better to focus on them and team spirit. Detractors choose that path, because not only do they fail to control their emotions, they are too selfish to use common sense. And by detractors, of course I am referring to ppl who turn on their own team.
The early success of last year brought about unrealistic expectations by many, and that crunched the fanbase, especially after the hugely unpopular Patriots sent their unwelcome replacements. In any event, that is now history.
I would really like to see what Brandstater has this year. Like Ute said, Tebow needs time to get acclimated to the NFL, and the Broncos system. No way is one summer enough for most starting QB’s.

Great article Matt! This years Defense will be really tough. As far as Tebow? I hope they bring him along slowly and let Quinn push Orton this year. Tebow needs some time but he’ll be fine despite some “pundits”. I’m optimistic myself.

good job matt. i will ALWAYS be a broncos fan. i will however, never be a McTool fan. i don’t believe in autocracy, and sometimes we need to have star players. not just THE coach and THE team. i will watch and enjoy when they win, and they will win. they might even make it near or in the playoffs for the division, but it will rankle me that there will be 53 players and McDaniels. the boy wonder had best deliver all the fire and brimstone in his bag of goodies, or he’s going to be on pat’s short list. there’s a few good coaches out there left.

If I were a Broncos fan I couldn’t wait for the season to start. Tim Tebow will be a major story every time he walks on the field. I am anxious to see how they try to get him involved in the offense.
Glad they’re not wearing those horrible unis this year, those barber pole socks twisted up (Jabar Gaffney do that?) made me dizzy just watching it. LOL

…(drum roll)…and my top reason why you should watch the Broncos this season…. Because a crazy clown dressed up in orange & blue and foaming at the mouth will come hunt you down…and nobody wants that.
So pick up your pom-poms Denver fans, and don’t forget your face-paint, suspenders and barrels. Although, I wouldn’t be counting any wins against the Chargers as a certainty…
