The Los Angeles Dodgers offense, especially Andre Ethier, is still DOA and, Friday’s last at bat notwithstanding, there aren’t many signs it is coming back to life. The Dodgers were 2 for 13 with runners in scoring position and left 10 men on base. Fourth batter Andre Ethier continues to struggle. He is now 2 for his last 16 against the Giants and is batting just .247 in July. Casey Blake is 0 for his last 11 and is hitting .177 in July. Recently acquired outfielder Scott Podsednik may have shown signs of getting comfortable with his new team as he went 2 for 5 with an RBI and a run scored.
