Update: Chris Bryant committed to Michigan on Friday night
Brady Hoke has racked up the frequent flyer miles in the days since he was named Michigan Football’s head coach. One of his stops has been Chicago where he has visited with 4-star OL Chris Bryant. Hoke’s efforts have put Michigan in a good position to land this behemoth lineman when he announces his decision on Friday night at 8:30.
Bryant checks in at 6-foot-5, 330 pounds and projects as a guard. He is a real road grader and has the potential to develop into an outstanding player. “(Coach Hoke) was cool. He is going to do something with that program,” Bryant told Sam Webb in a Detroit News article. “They’re fixing to get back on top. Brady Hoke is a good man. He is a players’ coach. He is the type that the players want to be around. He made a great first impression, and you know that first impression is always big.” Michigan is battling Arizona and Pitt for Bryant’s commitment.
Note: Michigan has added Air Force to the 2012 Schedule
