The Real Season Begins for the Green Bay Packers

15-1.

That is a heck of a regular season.  But that is past everybody now and the real season starts this Sunday.

The Packers are a historic franchise and as nice as it is to have a great regular season the success of a Packers season is measured in their performance in the playoffs.  The Packers had a lot to think about during the regular season during each game but the playoffs are much more simple.

Win or go home.

The Packers no longer have the perfect season to worry about.  They have spent the last week of the season and their bye week in the playoffs getting healthy so the team should be fully prepared for the upcoming games.  They should only have one thing on their minds, winning the Superbowl.

Now I don’t want to take away anything from the Packers regular season.  Their phenomenal season has gotten them the first round bye they needed to rest and get healthy.  Being the number one seed also gives them home-field advantage for the playoffs.  So the Packers regular season has gotten them far but it won’t carry them any further.

The Packers are only three games away from repeating as Superbowl champions.  They will be tough games and will most likely cause me to gain some gray hairs or even lose some if I start pulling some out, but it is sure to be a fun ride.

It’s been a good ride so far this season but like I said earlier the real season beings this Sunday.

Let the fun begin.
