For those of you that enjoy the NBA Draft and might want something different then what the main stream media gives you should check out what CLNS Radio is doing tonight. They will have someone at draft itself, someone else at the Celtics draft party and finally a live show with several hosts, including yours truly, from 9 pm til 11 pm EST. In that time frame we will have updates from both the draft and the celtics party as well as having the lines open for people to call in (347-215-7771).
With this year’s first pick being a no brainer, the draft will begin with the Charlotte Bobcats and what they do. Some experts have placed Harrison Barnes at this spot, while others have the sophomore small forward as low as the 8th pick in tonight’s draft. This shows how much parity there is with the top players not named Anthony Davis. Unfortunately for the UNC fan base the more I listen to the so called experts the more I see that only two of the four players will be in the lottery, with only Barnes being a Top 5 or Top 10 selection.
As far as my coverage, I will try to do some live posts as the four North Carolina players are selected. In the coming days make sure to come back here to check out post draft posts about what I think about the quartet from Chapel Hill and how they look with the teams that have selected them.
