Update (7/6/2012): It appears that Laquon Treadwell will not announce a commitment at The Opening. However, a decision as soon as next week is possible. I think he would like to be at home to make the announcement. Treadwell has made it clear that Michigan is his leader.
Michigan Football recruiting might receive some good news this weekend. The Opening, a Nike Football camp, is underway and among those in attendance are 7 Michigan Football commits. Also there is Michigan target Laquon Treadwell (Crete, Illinois). Rumor has it, he might announce a commitment at The Opening. If that happens, it has to be good news for Brady Hoke and the Wolverines.
On his twitter account @SuccessfulQuon, Treadwell retweeted Mike Farrell’s tweet below. The background picture on his twitter page just so happens to be a picture of Laquon Treadwell at the Big House.
Gotta feel good of you’re a #Michigan an if Treadwell announces this weekend

The 6-foot-3, 195 pound Treadwell is considered the #4 WR in the country by ESPNU and ranked #38 overall. He is an elite playmaker and paired with QB Shane Morris, the Wolverines would have a dynamic duo.
Michigan’s 2013 recruiting class is currently ranked #1 by all the recruiting services and a pledge from Laquon Treadwell would further cement that ranking.
