UPDATE: Ross Douglas decided there was no need to wait and has committed to Michigan. Douglas becomes commit #23 for the Wolverines (see full list below).

4-star cornerback Ross Douglas (Avon, Ohio) has decommitted from Penn State and will visit Michigan on Sunday. Ross will also visit Notre Dame and Wisconsin.

Douglass had committed to Penn State in February. In the wake of the Freeh report and NCAA sanctions he decommitted on July 23rd. Ross would like to firm up a new commitment before his season starts on August 24th.

Michigan has been in the market for another corner and Ross could slide into one of the remaining slots in Brady Hoke’s outstanding 2013 recruiting class. If Ross were to commit it would likely mean Michigan only has one scholarship left to offer.

Also a running back at Avon, Douglass rushed forĀ 704 yards and 9 TDs last season. He will play defensive back at Michigan.
