Podcast: Pushing the Envelope (July 28, 2012)

It is Saturday, so it is once again time to check out my podcast called “Pushing The Envelope”, which runs from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. EST. Today two great guests, first, coming on at 9: 45, it’s Brett Friedlander, which you can follow on twitter under the nicname of @StarNewsACC, journalist for the Star News. A man who can tell you as much about that conference as anyone out there and does not hold back his opinion. After him, the other guest for the day will be Jimmy Toscano, who goes by @Jimmy_Toscano on twitter, a sports writer at celticsblog.com & Boston Metro, editor/staff writer at CSNNE.com. Besides my two guests I will give you my take on some of the hot topics in this week’s sports world, my “Don’t be That Guy” segment and of course “What were You Thinking” piece.

With all of that, let’s not forget the number one thing to my podcast… You, the listeners. You can always call (347) 215-7771 with your opinions about the subjects of the day, or even about something else. Because, always remember, this is “Pushing the Envelope”, the show that does not sit on the fence on any sports subjects, and I need all of you to help me get those subjects out onto the airwaves. Like someone once said about the show… “some podcasts go outside the box, on this one I am not sure they even know where the box is“. And that is just how I like it. The Olympics are off and running, the NFL has its training camps all open, most major football conferences have had their media day and MLB is in full swing. It’s summer time, there is plenty of sports to talk about, so let’s get it going today from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. EST right here on “Pushing the Envelope”.
