5-star running back Derrick Green has been visiting the Michigan Wolverines all weekend and by all accounts, that visit has been going extremely well. The nations top ranked RB (according to rivals.com) has posed with Heisman Trophies, hung out with Denard Robinson, and spent some quality face time with Brady Hoke.
Checking in at a chiseled 6-foot, 220 pounds, Green is a load and would fit perfectly into Michigan’s pro-style offense as the power back that Brady Hoke covets.
Derrick Green rushed for 1,493 yards and 19 touchdowns last season and led Hermitage to the Group AAA Division 6 Central Region championship.
Green has been able to spend time with some of Michigan’s 2013 commitments at the BBQ at the Big House. They are definitely doing their part to convince him to join the Wolverines.

Another “idk yet” from Derrick Green when asked if he will commit to #Michigan before he leaves. That often means yes but we’ll see.

Stay tuned for more updates as it appears that Derrick Green may be on the verge of committing to Michigan. Even if he doesn’t, his trip to Ann Arbor has gone extremely well and certainly put the Wolverines in a great position to land the elite running back.
