North Carolina Football: Heels in the Pro’s (Aug 11, 2012)

The first week of pre season in the National Football League has been pretty stretched out, having begun on Thursday with six games, then followed it up yesterday with another half dozen match ups, and today going with a couple of games. Fortunately for all fans of North Carolina football there will be a touch of carolina blue in both of the match ups this evening. Using the list that UNC Pros and OurLads has made up, and adding a bit of information on my own, here are all the players that once called Chapel Hill home that their NFL teams will be playing tonight…

For the Houston Texans…

QB T.J. Yates #13 (6’3″/219 lbs) 2 Years Exp

For the Tennessee Titans…

LB Zach Brown #55 (6’1″/242 lbs) Rookie

Tomorrow there will be just one game, which will be televised by the NFL Network, that will feature once again players that come from the North Carolina football program. Luckily for the UNC fan base it will have a touch of carolina blue on each side of the ball. I will be following all the former UNC players for the whole preseason as well as the regular season and the post season.
