It is being reported that Michigan Football’s sophomore cornerback Blake Countess is out of the season with a knee injury.

Countess was injured during the Alabama game and was replaced by Courtney Avery (Jr), who struggled. Raymon Taylor (So) and Terry Richardson (Fr) also saw action at cornerback.
Countess will be eligible for a medical redshirt.
Blake Countess started the final 6 games last season and played very well. He notched 44 tackles and 6 pass break ups. Losing him to injury is a big blow to Michigan’s defense. It means an already young defense just got a lot younger and more inexperienced.
