Podcast: Pushing the Envelope (September 15, 2012)

Another Saturday and that can only mean another episode of “Pushing the Envelope” (from 9:30 a.m. EST to 11:00 a.m. EST), the podcast where no one fence sits and all give their opinion on any and all subjects. And what a line up on today’s podcast, not one, not two, not three, but four, and maybe five guests coming on to talk all type of sports. From the Atlantic Coast Conference football race, to what Notre Dame coming into the conference will do for both the existing programs and the Fighting Irish, to the best five teams in college football right now, to what is going on in the Boston sports scene to a bit of fantasy football and baseball. Plus, my two small segments… “Don’t be that Guy/Gal” and “What the HECK were you thinking!” And all of this, believe it or not, in just ninety minutes.

In today’s episode I will have Michael Felder, (@InTheBleachers on twitter), blogger and podcaster at Bleacher Report. The former Tar Heel defensive back turned football analyst is going to talk about which teams are the best in the college gridiron landscape entering the third week of the 2012 campaign. Then it will be one of the insiders when it comes to the ACC, (@starnewsacc on twitter), who writes for Star News. With him we will talk about the conference’s best teams and of course what the move by Notre Dame will mean in the short and long run for both the Irish and the conference. Then, for the first time ever on the podcast, it’s going to be Erika Leigh, (@_ErikaLeigh on twitter) and owner of the The New England Sports Journal web site. With the rookie to the podcast it’s going to be all about Boston, giving us the run down on the Red Sox, the Patriots and the Celtics. And since all love this segment, Michael Pichan, (@FantasyNomad on twitter) and part of RotoInfo.com with several podcasts will be on once again today. Mike and myself play FFL together at <a href="http://dynastysportsempire.com/" target="_blank"Dynasty Sports Empire, but the show is about the fans, and he is going to give all of you some advice about skilled position players: who you should start and who you should avoid.

And of course there is you, the public, the ones that make this all worthwhile! You can always call in with a question for the guests or me, with an opinion about the subjects, at (347) 215 7771. And if you can not (or don’t want to) call in, you can always send me a tweet at A_E_M or through the chat room in BTR with your question for me or my guests. So make sure to tune into the show either at CLNS Radio or on BlogTalkRadio, and if you can not listen live check it out over at ITunes.
