As I usually do when I have the time I surf the net to see what is going on with either North Carolina basketball and/or football. Well, today, as I skimmed over one of my daily stop, WRAL Sports, I found a story that totally shocked me. With the title of the story being…
UNC’s Roy Williams in surgery for tumor
From the story it said that the head man for the Heels basketball team, who is 62, was in surgery to have a tumor removed from his right kidney this morning, and while not much information was known, more was expected to be available this afternoon. As I do with all the other present and past Tar Heels let me be the first one to wish the speediest of recovery to Roy Williams.
[UPDATE] Again from WRAL Sports it is being reported that coach Williams will have to have a second procedure, this time on his left kidney, in the middle of October.
