Podcast: Pushing the Envelope (Sept. 22, 2012)

Once again, as the weekend begins and Saturday morning is warming up to all the college pre game shows, it’s time to once again check out the “Pushing the Envelope” podcast (9:30 til 11:00 a.m. EST) on CLNS Radio. The podcast that takes a stand on most everything in sports and never sits on the fence, brought to you by the internet radio station that gives you tons of exciting shows! On today’s show it’s a guest overload as I bring to you one two three four of them, talking from North Carolina football and basketball, to the Atlantic Coast conference gridiron, to college football in general to, of course, fantasy college and pro football. Plus my two segments… the “Don’t be that Guy/Gal” and the “What the HECK were you thinking!”

We begin the show with Lauren (Lebrownlow on twitter), owner of a great site named One game at a time and established sport writer, with her pieces being placed on UNC’s official web site and main stream media outlets like Fox Sports Carolinas. With her, who will be on at about 9:45, we will be talking about the football teams from the Triangle (UNC, Duke and N.C. State), as well as a question about the health of the North Carolina’s basketball head coach, Roy Williams. Following her it will be time for Adam Powell (@HeelIllustrated on twitter), publisher of TarHeelIllustrated.com as well as being the author of three great books. With Adam, who will be on around 10, we will get into Carolina’s football and basketball teams. Then we move from the Heels and the ACC to college football in general as Brandon Folsom (@Brandon_Folsom on twitter), editor of Spartan Avenue will make his first (of what I hope many) appearances on the PTE podcast. With the rookie, who will be on at 10:15, we will be speaking from the SEC to the Big Ten to the Big East, and maybe more. And, as is usual for most of my podcasts, we end the show with Michael Pichan (@FantasyNomad on twitter), Host of RotoInfo.com Fantasy Sports Shows. With the vet of the show it’s going to be about the start and sit for week three in the NFL and of course a bit of jabbing about the first ever isportsweb “5+5 Pick’Em Contest”.
