North Carolina Basketball: Late Night with Roy details…

For those of you that keep an eye on the hardwoods even while following the gridiron team here is some good news. From the official UNC Athletics site “Late Night with Roy” details have been announced. For all the North Carolina basketball fans Friday, October 12 at the Dean Dome will be the first opportunity to get a glimpse of the 2012-13 version of the basketball squad. And while all the fans want to see how the team looks this season, I am sure that this time around a lot more people will be watching on how the man at the helm is doing, as Roy Williams will be less than a month removed from his surgery.

The event will be part of ESPNU Midnight Madness Event. In all four schools from the conference will be featured in the event, which will have 14 schools altogether. From the world leader in sports Doris Burke (and TBD) will be in Chapel Hill providing coverage of the going ons, which will include player introductions, scrimmage and interviews with coaches and key players along with other activities. If you do not want to go from one school to another you can watch “Late Night with Roy” completely on ESPN3 (online).
