As far as the line up for this packed show we begin with someone who has been on many, many times… Michael Felder (@InTheBleachers on twitter), who writes for the Bleacher/Report on Your Best 11 and also has a podcast to talk about college football each and every Wednesday, where you can ask him questions and he will answer them live. With Mike, who comes on from the get go of the show, it’s going to be about college football, first touching on the ACC, then the SEC and finally a quick glance across the board of the college football spectrum. Ending with “which one game will he be watching today/tonight”. After that, at about 9:45, it’s one of the big bosses of CLNS Radio, as Nick Gelso (@CLNSRadio on twitter), joins the show to talk about the NBA. Being that Nick is a fan of Duke the school I can not speak about, I will ask him if the NCAA was to put in place the same rule that the National Basketball Association is (about flopping) would Coach K’s program go bankrupt by season’s end! Following that interview, at about 10:00 am, the show gets back into the college gridiron as Lauren Brownlow (@Lebrownlow on twitter), stops by to talk about the Triangle (UNC, Duke and N.C. State). From what I know she is headed to not one, but two games today featuring teams from Tobacco Road! We will discuss those two games, as well as getting her opinion on how she see the ACC is looking overall as college football arrives at mid season. We will also find out if she has anything new on her great site called One Game at a Time.
In the last hour of the podcast I will then have first Brandon Folsom (@Brandon_Folsom on twitter), writer, editor and recruiting guru for Spartan Avenue on FanSided. With Brandon, who will be on from 10:20 til 10:35, it’s going to be about what he sees as the best games this weekend, the Heisman race and any surprises so far this season in college football. And as we usually do each week on Pushing the Envelope, we dedicate the last part of the podcast to fantasy sports, meaning that Michael Pichan, (@FantasyNomad on twitter), of rotoinfo.com podcast fame, comes on to discuss National Football League start/sit with us for the upcoming week. Mike, who will be on from about 10:35 til the end, will also answer any questions that you may have about your fantasy team, so make sure to send them in either via twitter or facebook.
And finally, along with all of this, there is you, the listeners. You can call in and ask me or my guests anything you want @ (347) 215 7771. You can listen to the show both on CLNS Radio or on BlogTalkRadio, or if you can not make it live, you can always get the download on ITunes. In the end, it’s another football Saturday and the best way to tackle it is to listen to the show that never sits on the fence… Pushing the Envelope!
