Big Ten Soccer: Sunday’s results shift title race

After a wild Sunday of Big Ten men’s soccer there are now only four teams that have a chance to win the regular season title. Thanks to two of the leagues bottom dwellers; Michigan State, Indiana and Northwestern have chance to take the title from Penn State, who is now finished with Big Ten play. Here is an updated table and scenarios for your favorite team to win the regular season title.

SUNDAY’S RESULTS

-Michigan State wins 3-1 over Indiana.

-Northwestern draws with Wisconsin 0-0 in double overtime.

-Penn State and Ohio State draw in double overtime at a score of 4-4.

FINAL MATCHES

-Northwestern at Indiana 7pm Thursday November 1st

-Michigan State at Michigan 7pm Saturday November 3rd

-Wisconsin at Ohio State 1pm  Sunday November 4th

SCENARIOS

-Michigan State wins title if….Victory over Michigan and Indiana win or tie.

-Indiana wins title if….Victory over Northwestern and Michigan State tie or loss.

-Northwestern wins title if….Victory over Indiana.

-Penn State wins title if….Both games end in draws.
