As a journalist there aren’t many times where I can be bias, however, tonight is one of those nights.

As I look at the AWAY team I see some scary names such as Steve Smith and Kevin Willis, but when I look at the HOME team I see one thing, THE FLINTSTONES. Mateen Cleaves, Morris Peterson and Charlie Bell are three of the most prestigious ball players to put on the Green and White and without them I’m not sure that this Michigan State program or Tom Izzo’s legacy would be even close to what it is today. Throw in Antonio Smith — another Flint representative that was apart of the 1999 team — and you have a scary team… I think.

The Flintstones.

The Flintstones.

It will be interesting to see how much time turnovers and substitutions take out of the game due to some bad knees and years away form competitive basketball, but either way Friday night at Jenison will be something special.

The Mark Dantonio coached team will win pretty big I believe.

Also, don’t be surprised if you see all of the Flintstones on the floor at one time.
