Georgia Bulldogs Recruiting: A Look at the 2013 Class

The Georgia Bulldogs had a fairly boring signing day on Wednesday, as the team really lacked any major late commitments for the 2013 class. Despite a lack of antics on a day that some college football fans may liken to Christmas, the Dawgs should be feeling fine about their class as a whole, as they were able to reel in a grand total of thirty-two recruits, which was tied for the fifth most in FBS football.

*Ratings According to 24/7 Sports

Overall, I believe the Bulldogs did an excellent job in compiling this class, as they added a significant amount of depth at nearly every position in which it was needed. Georgia has also benefited from having a class with a significant portion that was ready to hit to college, as thirteen of these players are already enrolled at UGA.

If I was to pick five of these thirty-two players to suggest everyone to keep an eye on, it would be Ramsey, Seymour, Atkins, Matthews, Wiggins. While all five of these players probably will not have very much playing time when September rolls around, it appears to be a safe bet that they will be integral pieces of the Georgia Bulldogs in the very near future.

If I had to grade this class, I would give it a B+. This class may not wow fans across the country, but it has done the job of adding a ton of high school talent and college potential to the team. Now it is up to these thirty-two young men to turn that potential into something great.
