Michigan Football picked up a major 2015 commitment on Saturday when 5-star WR George Campbell committed to play for the Wolverines. On Monday, 4-star 2015 running back Damien Harris committed to play for Michigan. Harris is ranked #20 overall by ESPN.
The 5-foot-11, 195 pound Harris, hails from Berea, Kentucky and gives Brady Hoke another highly skilled offensive weapon. Here’s an excerpt of his scouting report on ESPN.
Strong, balanced runner with quick feet and well-rounded skill-set. Flashes good top-end speed and upper and lower body strength. Displays good vision finding the hole and the ability to get through tight creases for big gainers. Possesses the lateral stretch ability and edge speed to get outside and move the chains. …
Harris made the announcement on Twitter and bolsters what is starting off to be another tremendous recruiting class for the Wolverines. He also held offers from Kentucky, Ohio State, Florida, Notre Dame and numerous other programs.
