First Round Pick #16: Dee Ford, DE, Auburn
The Dallas Cowboys need help at the defensive end spot after losing DeMarcus Ware to free agency. Anthony Spencer is returning but his health is uncertain. Ford has the athleticism to be a pro bowl defensive end the Cowboys need.
Second Round Pick #47: Jimmie Ward, S, Northern Illinois
Jimmie Ward has the ball hawking skills the Cowboys have been lacking for years.
Third Round Pick #78: Ego Ferguson, DT, LSU
Ego Ferguson has massive size at the defensive tackle spot. The Cowboys need to continue to bolster their defensive line after losing Jason Hatcher in free agency. The Cowboys picked up former pro bowler Henry Melton but he’s coming off an ACL injury and this would add more depth.
Fourth Round Pick #119: Josh Huff, WR, Oregon
You can never have enough quality wide receivers and that’s excatly what Huff is. He has soft hands and great body control to make tough grabs. Terrance Williams is set to be the No.2 receiver but the slot is uncertain. Huff can certainly fill that void.
Fifth Round Pick #158: Aaron Colvin, CB, Oklahoma
Colvin is a speedy, smart, big, and physical corner who can help a Cowboys defensive back field that got torched last season.
Seventh Round Pick #229: Austin Wentworth, OG, Fresno State
A big guard who’s a good pass protector. He will add depth to the offensive line.
Seventh Round Pick #231: Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia
A smart QB with a quick release. He also is known to be a great leader. The Cowboys could develop him to be a possible starting QB in this league.
