Mexico Soccer: Eyes peeled for the sensations of the Liga MX

The Liga MX is in full swing, after a tremendous summer of World Cup football, the liga has returned to keep this summer of football alive.

While many footballers have returned to their respective clubs to begin training for the upcoming season, the Liga MX has already begun.

Heres a shortlist of some of the key Mexican players to look forward to this season.

4. Oribe Peralta

Oribe Peralta now sporting new colors will have to live up to his goal scoring reputation, at a club that expects the best out of its frontmen. Cuauhtemoc Blanco, Salvador Cabanas, and Christian Benitez are just a few of the strikers Peralta has to follow at America. But Peralta is fit for the role, after a great World Cup run Peralta will be fueled to hit the field, and get back to his goal scoring ways.

3. Juan Gallo Vazquez

Gallo Vazquez is small, but has the presense of a giant. Brazil 2014 undeniably was that of the midfielder, as he outshined many of the more experienced players on El Tri’s roster. Although he has been rumored to be on the move, nothing concrete has come along. Thus for the time being he will continue to shine in the Liga MX, with the objective of getting Leon its third consecutive title.

2. Carlos Gullit Pena

Sadly this wasn’t Carlos Pena’s World Cup, as many had forseen. With the dynamic rise of Hector Herrera it was always going to be difficult to outshine the Porto man. Its unfortunate because Pena boast some of the same dynamic qualities as Herrera, but one of these playters was always going to have to sit it out. It willl certainly be entertaining to watch Pena with Leon this season as well.

1. Marco Fabian

Undoubtedly one of the leagues best players will hope to top himself this season with Cruz Azul. He proved last season he was capable of great things and this season seems no exception. Fabian nearly carried the team to a championship but fell short to the current champion. If Fabian continues to play the way he did last season that this might just be his last in the Liga MX.
