Brady Hoke

Michigan Football picked up a big commitment on Friday when 4 star defensive tackle Darian Roseboro (Lincolnton, North Carolina) announced he would be playing his college football for Brady Hoke and the Wolverines. The 6-foot-4, 285 pound Roseboro is ranked #42 overall by rivals.com and the #6 defensive tackle prospect.

Roseboro is the 11th member of Michigan’s stellar 2015 recruiting class. He is also the ninth of those 11 players who is ranked a 4 star recruit. Michigan’s recruiting class is ranked #18 overall by rivals. Roseboro’s primary recruiter was Roy Manning, who continues to establish himself as an excellent recruiter.

Here’s an excerpt of his scouting report on ESPNU;

Good looking frame and overall player at the tackle position…He can jolt blockers back and maintain base at the point. Shows good speed down the line and burst off the ball. Displays good reactions and a great nose for the football. A punishing wrap up and run through tackler…Roseboro is a physical player with a nice frame and skill set to develop. Projects to be a prospect with good upside that could flourish at the next level with more technical refinement.

Roseboro is considered the top ranked player from the state of North Carolina. He fills a position of need in this recruiting class and projects as an impact player at the collegiate level.
