It was transfer deadline day on Monday.  Manchester United had many signings that changes the team and brings hope for fans.

United drew 0-0 against Burnley FC last Saturday; a disappointment for fans and the team. United are in 14th place in the Premier League table. United signed new players that can be a great addition to the team and loaned/sold other players.

United signed Angel Di Maria from Spanish club, Real Madrid. Di Maria started in the lineup last Saturday and showed promising potential for the team. Di Maria set up crosses for Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney. United also signed Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind and Radamel Falcao.

Rojo is a defender from Portuguese club; Sporting CP. Rojo is a young talented player who can bring experience to United from the Portuguese league. Blind, a Dutch player, who has played for Louis van Gaal and played with Dutch League team, Ajax. Ajax is one of the top teams in the Netherlands League. Blind is a midfielder and can add more energy to the midfield playing alongside Juan Mata.

A huge and improved signing for United was striker, Radamel Falcao. Falcao played in the French League with Monaco for two years. Falcao had a knee inury earlier this year, which left him out of the World Cup. Falcao scored 28 goals back in the 2012/2013 season with Atletico Madrid, making him one of the top scorers in the league. Falcao will replace the two strikers, Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck.

Welbeck and Hernandez both left the club after playing with United for several years. Hernandez went to Real Madrid, joining the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale. Welbeck left to United’s rivals, Arsenal, where he is possibly replacing injured striker, Olivier Giroud. United sold both midfielders Tom Cleverley and Shinji Kagawa. Cleverley left United to another English club Aston Villa and Kagawa went back to former club, Borussia Dortmund.

These are important signings for Manchester United. These are big names in the world of soccer. Many are happy that van Gaal is signing players that will bring talent and experience to the team.
