Dallas Cowboys: I Smell Trading in the Wind

MIKEJENKINSTACKLE

Mike Jenkins is in the final year of his contract. He has really had up and down seasons in his four years in Dallas. In his first full season he made the Pro Bowl and after that seemed to disappear.

Dallas Cowboys: Fives of NFL Draft Dos, Donts and Disasters

Dallas will not be able to take all the players I want them to, but I hope they will take a couple that I see as solid players. I have had my share of good picks and bad.

Dallas Cowboys: Draft thoughts by position

Ideally for me I would like to have Dallas trade down. I think there will be plenty of need players available in the lower half of the first round. Personally I think Dallas missed out on their chance last season by passing on JJ Watt and taking an offensive Tackle.

Dallas Cowboys: Five Free Agent Thoughts

DeMarcus will regain his sack title in this game.

The whole NFL is rapidly approaching the start of Free Agency. The benefit of having free agency before the draft is that teams can address needs with veterans if they want. Right now there is only one position I would say cannot use an upgrade and that is kicker. Not because Dan Bailey played so well, it’s just that Dallas has three on the roster two vets and one said to be better than Bailey. So with so much of an open market for Dallas here are my five thoughts.

Dallas Cowboys: Season in Review Doomed from the Start

Dallas will need all of Dez in this game to pull out a win.

Many fans have had their say in why Dallas missed the playoffs, pointing to everything from Tony Romo to the coaching staff, to the ownership. While it would be easy to attack why the Cowboys failed, I would like to look at what made them a success. Handing out season awards per group.

Dallas Cowboys: Why Someone is Throwing the Game at the Giants

Romo might struggle in this one.

So last week was a preseason game and this week Dallas will be playing for the draft. Yes I am a long time fan that believes that Dallas can win this game but they won’t and for one single reason.

Dallas Cowboys: Will They Even Play the Eagles?

To say what the Cowboys approach to this game will be is really hard to say. Jason Garrett is a play it safe type of Coach. I can fully see him resting key players like Felix Jones, Jay Ratliff, and DeMarcus Ware.

Dallas Cowboys: A Tale of Two Teams in Tampa Bay

So Dallas beat a team they should have beaten and while I don’t want to diminish the win, I can’t get too excited about it either. What I did get excited about was the Giants losing today.

Dallas Cowboys: Ready to be Boarded at Tampa Bay

Dez was not on the team when Dallas beat the Saints last year.

The Cowboys gain and score more, and allow fewer than the Bucs at almost every turn. Dallas even has a plus 15 turnover difference. There is no reason for Dallas to lose this game other than one thing, coaching.

Dallas Cowboys: Gave the Win and NFC East to the Giants

Felix may not play much with the return of Barber.

Let’s just say the Dallas Cowboys are what they are. These Dallas Cowboys are not the teams of the 90′s or even the 70′s, 80′s or 00′s.
